Job Purpose
Act as a Finance Lead for the ERP implementation project, post implementation, manage the ERP maintenance (core GL + accounts payable, fixed asset and procurement.)
Functional Responsibilities
Project stage till “Go Live”
- Lead the ERP project implementation, design the structure/architecture and ensure the smooth functioning of GL control
- Develop and maintain Chart of Accounts (COA)
- Design the GL structure and architecture
- Ensure UAT and Sign off
- Develop journal entries and monitor account reconciliation
- Develop and formulate all reports and deliver presentation projects for repeated usage
- Elucidate and deliver user stories and acceptance criteria to the project team, IT and developers for accounting and finance changes
Post Implementation
- Ensure quality governance policies, process and documentation as per the laid down guidelines
- COA maintenance
- Implement a robust GL control and ensure smooth functioning
- Review of testing results for the process/system related changes in the bank
- Represent Finance as an SME across all the stakeholders within the bank on the change initiatives which has GL impact
- Oversee reconciliation of GL accounts from various systems
