Opportunity Description
To assess risk of Credit worthiness of applicants in the Personal Banking Division in line with approved policy parameters and Industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- To evaluate and appraise Credit applications and adhere to Banks Policies, Procedures and Central Bank circulars & other statutory guidelines

To review, underwrite and recommend appropriate risk mitigants to loan proposals in line with industry standards to facilitate prudent Credit decision

To analyse Audited financial Statements, Bank Statements and other related documents to determine credit worthiness of the existing and potential new to Bank clients

To perform Credit Initiation checks viz. Blacklist / Exposure / Compliance related checks etc. to facilitate finalizing Credit Approval Memos / checklists

To liaise with various units and stakeholders for day to day tasks

To handle multiple Loan Services and applications related to all PB related products

To suggest methods to minimize processing time on applications to improve overall TATs
Skills
Education:
University Degree or Equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years banking experience (mainly in Credit / Risk assessment)
- Working knowledge of Mortgage Loans
- Highly developed communication ability with strong credit assessment skills and adequate skills in computer application
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage work flow independently
