Job Description

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Generate new business to achieve defined sales targets in all WM products

• Build and deepen relationships with existing WM customers to achieve increase in share of wallet and revenues

• Handle portfolio of customers who are of a higher and more sensitive nature.

• Assessment of the quality, potential and profitability of new relationships as well as the existing portfolio

• Ensure that the service standards of WM are met and maintained and Nil undesirable business is sourced

• Provide truly professional customer service to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and retention

• Ensure proper documentation is done across products and timely draw-down.

• Clear IS certification before the stipulated deadline.

• Update customers on the global economic policies and trends; be abreast with information on equities, bonds, commodities, futures, options, indices, bullion, derivate

• Offer products that suits the customers risk profile and appetite

• Be fully abreast with the market competition to be able to provide information to the customer on products without any bias

• Be able to manage an incremental portfolio of relationships; liabilities, AUM and assets

• Advise and promote Mortgage, SME business and other businesses of the bank and to refer potential cases to the respective business

• Be fully aware of entire product and service range available in WM programme and keep abreast of market developments, both global as well as local

• Ensure that the business is booked as per laid down procedures and guidelines and due diligence is carried out with respect to money laundering and other regulatory requirements

• Provide necessary MIS as per schedule and set formats advised by your Manager to monitor and track performances related to Sales and Contact Management.

• Input prospects contacted with details in your Daily Call Reports and atleast have a minimum of 25% conversion from prospects.

• Responsibly review KYC after fully understanding and researching customer business and background to ensure that no laundered money reaches our counters and promptly report to Controls Unit any suspicious transactions or trends in customers portfolio

• Adhere to all the laid guidelines on the flexi working hours. Carefully read and understand the do’s and don’ts and comply by the same.

• Ensure portfolio coverage atleast once in 60 day cycle in terms of Face to Face meeting

• Attend team meetings for performance reviews as per schedule decided and nominated

• Ensure that all trainings and certifications (Internal and External) are attended / cleared

• To ensure NTB acquisition through Corporate presentations, events etc

Skills

Education level required

• University degree for expats and higher diploma or equivalent qualifications for Nationals

Professional / Technical qualifications / Diplomas

• Banking Diploma / AIB

• Sales and marketing degree/diploma preferable

• Certification for selling investment products or related instruments

Experience

• Atleast 3-4 years experience in banking, WM and relationship management or customer service preferably in a similar HNWI relationship management job

• Experience in advisory level on investment product offerings

• Personal Banking credit skills

Specialist Skills required for the Job

• Knowledge of local legal system as applicable to Banking

• Anti Money laundering guidelines and ability to source only legitimate business

• Local commercial banking practice

• Awareness of Central Bank guidelines & regulations

• Good leadership, communication, negotiation and impersonal skills

• Good computer skills with the ability to generate and interpret MIS

• Should have a good knowledge of WM retail products
