Product Manager – Liabilities and Payroll

Job Purpose:

• To oversee the development and launch of any Liability product introduced by the bank
• Periodically review the existing liability products to ensure they are in line with the market
• Review the profitability of all liability products and recommend changes when necessary to improve competitiveness and increase profitability.
• Manage the product development and enhancement for Liability which is offered to all existing and new account/ card customers.
• To maintain a competitive edge in the market on product initiatives while ensuring adherence to Bank’s policies, ethics and code of conduct
• To effectively implement new ideas for product bundling in order to offer value products to customers.
• To effectively manage MIS activities, ensuring timely and accurate MIS is maintained to track revenue generation.

Education level required

• University degree for Expats and higher diploma or equivalent qualifications for Nationals

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of work experience in Banking.

Specialist Skills required for the job

• In depth understanding and knowledge of the Banking Industry, specifically Wealth Management business, with the perspective of Product Structuring, Service Levels, Customer Needs, Competitive Environment in the UAE, GCC and other international markets; and local Legal & Commercial Regulatory Environment.
• Strong project management skills with an in depth understanding of all aspects of Product, Procedures & Operations, both internal and external, across various product lines within Wealth Management.
• Strong business development skills, resilience, drive and ability to complete assignments accurately under aggressive deadlines.
• Strong relationship management skills to interact with key insurance players in the market.
• Initiative and drive to achieve set targets and service standards.
• Leadership skills to motivate and influence a team of sales and service people.
• Self-motivated, creative and a proven self starter.
• Good written & verbal communication skills & negotiation including problem solving skills
• Good negotiation and networking skills with internal and external customers.
• Engalis and Arabic speaker (preferably).
