Network Analyst

RAKBANK is looking to hire a highly skilled Network Analyst to be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Network/Security and Voice and related infrastructure. This individual will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure, and ensure that security, network, voice and related procedures adhere to organizational values

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the Bank’s Wide Area Network and specific premises Local Area Networks to ensure secure, reliable, cost effective high quality data communications throughout the bank
• Maintaining the Bank’s systems infrastructure including Network, Security and Voice etc.
• Ensuring optimum availability of ICT Services to end users through proactive measures such as performance monitoring, event log checking, timely update of patches and upgrades, preventive maintenance of ICT systems, etc.
• Providing technical advice and assistance during the planning and preparation of new Business Projects/expansion
• Ensuring error free functioning of high availability and DR systems through timely updates, routine testing, etc.
• Reviewing and recommending technological improvements to automate, enhance processes to bring benefits to the Bank
• Ensuring timely update of System/Technology architecture documentation and procedural changes
• Ensuring timely update of IT Asset/Software inventory records
• Configuring, implementing, and managing the on-going operations of Network Security and voice
• Designing and configuring  redundancy, ensuring high-availability to critical bank applications
• Ensuring optimum availability of Network, Security and Voice Infrastructure to end users through proactive measures such as performance monitoring, event log checking, timely update of patches and upgrades, preventive maintenance of respective systems
• Coordinating with other IT Teams – Project Management, System Support, InfoSec, Data Centre, End-User Support and relevant business units to support the Technical Requirements

Technical skills required:

• Strong knowledge of Cisco Systems
• Strong knowledge in Blue Coat systems
• Firewall administration
• Citrix NetScaler administration
• Strong knowledge in F5 LTM, GTM, ASM, I Rule administration
• Knowledge in WAN, LAN technologies
• Strong knowledge in Network Access Controls
• Knowledge in IPS and AV
• Dell and IBM flex Switch Administration
• Strong knowledge in DNS
• Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching, Security and Voice protocols
