Job Description

The job is accountable for all digital marketing initiatives carried out by the bank encompassing the website, microsites, mobile apps, digital banking UX and UI, branch digital signage, email campaigns and social media to ensure best in class user experience.

Some of the Key Accountabilities-

• Will be the custodian of the RAKBANK brand in the digital space across both owned and paid mediums (Website, Social Media, Email, Alliances, Partner websites, Digital Signage and Digital Banking)

• Accountable for the bank’s digital assets namely RAKBANK websites, microsites and mobile apps and ensure best in class user experience (UX) and User Interface (UI)

• Responsible for management of the RAKBANK website real estate, ensuring that the website is always in sync with the vision and strategy of the bank. Actively discussing with different business units ensuring that current promotions and products have visibility

• Responsible for the management of the UAE&U blog, bringing fresh and relevant topics to the blog along with internal and external sources

• To be a major stakeholder and Marketing’s representative in the implementation of all digital projects that are undertaken for e.g. convergence project and oversee all UX and UI elements ensuring a consistent experience across devices and OS’s (Digital Banking – Online, Mobile and Tablet Banking)

• To ensure RAKBANK’s position as a leading bank in the digital and social media space by continuous research of best practices worldwide and in the region

• Accountable for the management of all the RAKBANK owned Social Media Channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, FourSquare and Google Maps) and ensure high engagement scores with customers, also ensuring growth using best practices for Search engine optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

• Accountable for organic is carried out primarily through Google and a constant flow of relevant organic/paid traffic is maintained and tracked using Webtrends

• Maintain excellent relationships with key partners within the region (IBM, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.) ensuring that RAKBANK is abreast with best practices worldwide

Skills

Experience

10-12 years of marketing/digital marketing

3-4 years of experience working in a finance/banking environment

Prior experience in digital banking UX and UI, social and online media & advertising industry

Experience managing a multi-cultural team

Experience managing multiple agencies (Digital, Social and Traditional)
