Opportunity Description
To provide support for the SME lending division under Corporate Banking and assume joint responsibility in the administration of the portfolio
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• To follow all guidelines laid down in the “Guidelines for lending officers” of the Bank.
• To follow all guidelines laid down in the “Credit Policy” document.
• To undertake spreading of financial statements facilitating financial analysis.
• To prepare Face and Operational sheets of LAs.
• To prepare account statistics turnover etc. and compilation of relevant information for preparation of LAs.
• To assist UHCB/SRM/RMs/ROs in ensuring that all administrative aspects associated with the portfolio are correctly and efficiently carried out.
• To assist UHCB/SRM/RMs in monitoring legal cases and follow up in accounts where the strategy is exit.
• To monitor receipt of management accounts, stock and debtor statements, insurance policies etc.
• Follow up for compliance of all terms of approval in each LA.
• Follow up with customers for term loan installments, settlement of past dues etc.
• To assist ROs in day to day account operations.
• To prepare various CBD returns and ensure timely submission.
Skills
Education level required:
• Higher Diploma (UAE National)
• University Degree or Equivalent (Expat)
Specialist Skills required for the Job:
• A sound knowledge of financials and credit analysis.
• Effective standard of oral and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills on Word & Excel.
Experience:
• At least 1 year experience as Credit Analyst and minimum 3 years banking experience.
• Training on Credit Proposals, Ratios, and Credit risk analysis.
