Job Purpose :
To evaluate risk of Credit proposals and analyze/ underwrite within delegation of authority and service level agreement
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
•Evaluate/ Analyze all Credit applications for Credit Cards in accordance with PPGs and Credit policy
•Perform Credit Initiation checks: De-dup Exposure checks etc. and complete Credit checklist.
•Ensure error-free processing – evidenced by error reports.
•Complete awareness and understanding of Credit Policies and Processes evidenced by degree of supervision and quality of Credit assessment.
•Provide quality Credit turn around service to Branches/ Sales as per Service Level Agreement
•Attend all Branches and Direct Sales enquiries (Help Desk)
•Ensure minimum productivity level is maintained.

Skills required for the Job :
•Good understanding of Product (risk perspective)
•Sound Credit analysis
•Good negotiation and networking skills with internal customers
•Good standard of oral and written Communication and PC skills
•Knowledge of local Banking and commercial regulations
•Arabic knowledge is desirable though not essential
•Ability to recognize good and poor quality Credit risks and exercise prudent Credit decision.
•Suggest/implement appropriate Credit initiation procedures on ongoing basis
•Requires to constantly apply good analytical skills in assessing complex Credit proposals, at times.
•Resolve queries of internal customers via Help Desk.
