About the Role:
This is a high-impact opportunity to join RAKBANK’s Finance team as an Associate Vice President – Capital and Liquidity Management. In this role, you will contribute to the bank’s strategic financial stability by managing liquidity and capital adequacy in alignment with regulatory standards. Reporting to the Vice President – Capital & Liquidity Management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Compliance, IT, and Data Management, and regularly engage with senior management and regulatory authorities. This role offers exposure to strategic decision-making and the chance to influence the bank’s financial resilience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Liquidity Risk Management
- Monitor and manage the bank’s liquidity position to ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance.
- Support the development and execution of liquidity strategies to maintain financial stability.
Capital Management
- Assist in preparing and submitting capital adequacy reports to CBUAE.
- Monitor capital ratios and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to optimizing the bank’s capital structure through strategic initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply with CBUAE standards and internal policies.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and assess their impact.
- Provide guidance to internal teams and respond to regulatory queries.
Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare detailed liquidity and capital reports for senior management and the board.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions.
- Drive process improvements in reporting and analytics.
Additional Responsibilities
- Enhance MIS and operational aspects of capital and liquidity reporting.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the Finance team.
- Liaise with rating agencies and prepare relevant presentations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–10 years in Finance, Treasury, Risk, or Compliance roles; minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- Industry Exposure: Familiarity with CBUAE liquidity and capital requirements.
