Job Purpose:
Manage and grow Islamic Auto and Home Finance business
Launch of new sharia compliant Auto and Home Finance proposition using innovating products structuring and sharia principle methodologies
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the business for the following products
Auto Finance
Home Finance
- Assist in developing product level strategies and align them with Conventional Product strategies by packaging in distinct Islamic Proposition in order to maximize profitability and creation of competitive advantage
- Assist in Continuous Product development in line with Shariah Principals adhering to the bank’s strategy
- Product Profitability and Financial modelling.
- Ensuring proper system implementation as per the business and Shari’ah guidelines
- Product Life Cycle Management for Auto and Home Finance
- Ensuring all Product Governance requirements are met in line with Global guidelines
- Act as the single point of contact for all product/segment/channel teams and Islamic Auto and Home Finance
- Active monitoring of credit risk of Islamic Auto and Home Finance - Assets portfolio through analytics and policy review
- Obtain regular feedback from front line for better understanding of client needs and development of the proposition along those needs
- Active Risk Management of the Islamic Auto and Home Finance Assets portfolio by direct engagement with Risk
- Review of Collections & Recovery performance for Islamic Auto and Home Finance Asset Products
- Assist in Acquisition, Cross Sell initiatives and Sales Strategy & Management
- Assist new product launches, processes, features and other key initiative.
- Thorough understanding of Standard Operations Processes management system
- Portfolio and Product Life Cycle management & tracking strategy
- Recommending innovative alternatives.
- Ensuring Proper Training is provided to all stakeholders
- Ensure all cross functional systems are properly integrated and functioning as per the requirements
Other Responsibilities
- Process Management and Improvement
- Maintain a pipeline for growth and monitor attrition.
- Prepare business strategy, business plans & budgets.
- Customer Satisfaction: Achieving maximum customer satisfaction, by providing pre/post technical assistance, thereby achieving delivery and quality norms.
- Day to day liaising with Sharia’s for matter related to businesses.
- Assist in proposition Development, Marketing, and Alliances
- Assist in Sales strategy development and management with the all the stakeholders
- Achieving Business objectives by vigilant monitoring of delinquencies and bad debts.
- Marketing strategy development and monitoring in coordination with the marketing Department.
Skills
Education level required:
Business Graduate/Post Graduate in Business/Management/Economics
Professional/Technical qualifications/Diplomas :
Post Graduate in Management preferably in Islamic economics and finance, proficient in MS Office.
Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience, out of which at least 1-2 years in an Islamic Bank/Division with a reputed institution.
Experience in structuring Islamic Assets Products including system (technology) set up.
Specialist Skills required for the Job:
This role requires outstanding communication skills coupled with an innovative blend of Shari’ah finance ideally gained in an Islamic financial institution with Risk assessment capabilities. Personal flexibility and the ability to work with a demanding, performance-driven, hands-on approach is critical with In depth knowledge of Shari’ah, Service focused, Drive for making things happen, Innovation and creativity, Open to change and eagerness to grow and Teamwork, co-operation and sharing
