Senior Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking

To manage and oversee existing portfolio of Corporate accounts in the branch, source new business, analyze credit proposals, maintain credit quality and generate revenue towards achievement of the budget.

Accountabilities -

• Achieve budgeted sales and service targets within acceptable risk standards.

• Identify market, source and book new corporate accounts and monitor existing commercial relationships so as to maximize revenues.

• Provide market feedback and competitor analysis in the formulation of new and innovative products

• Oversee that all administrative and control aspects pertaining to the portfolio are accurately and timely undertaken by the Relationship Officers/Customer Service Officers.

Education level required:

• University Degree or Equivalent

• Banking Diploma / AIB, Sales and marketing degree/diploma preferable

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relationship management in SME or Commercial Banking

• Negotiation : Has the ability to communicate and influence others to arrive at a mutually agreeable solution or position

• Sales : Has the ability to persuade others to accept products, services or ideas in order to satisfy a specific need

• Product and Services knowledge: A good knowledge of the products and services in own areas of responsibility, including interpretation of and application of best practices, and able to immediately recognize a range of options when matching these to business/customer needs. When required will have a good knowledge of products and services available through other specialist providers and when to refer elsewhere to ensure customer needs are met.
