Product Manager - Co-Branded Cards

Opportunity Description

We are looking for a Product Manager who is responsible for Identifying and implementing strategic Co-brand propositions that will augment the Cards products offering. Expand the portfolio of co-brand card programs and ensure the continued growth of existing programs to achieve the overall business objectives on card acquisition, usage, interest, fee income & support business profitability. Overall responsibility for all co-branded card products of the Bank.

Accountabilities

• Identify and develop key segments for a strategic partnership for co-branded cards in line with Business objectives.

• Conceptualize, propose and implement new co-brand card propositions. Work independently and with Payment Associations / Marketing / Sales teams to identify co-brand partners in various segments.

• Work with co-brand partner to finalize product value proposition. Understand partner’s objective(s) and help full fill them. This includes but not limited to card portfolio profitability as well as meeting partner’s revenue projection from the co-brand card programs.

• Formulate product strategies to grow market share and enhance profitability of existing co-brand product portfolios.

• Work closely with Cards Product team to ensure that the required product dimensions, budgets and targets are achieved in accordance with business plans, and the card portfolio growth is maximised through increased cardholder acquisition/usage.

• Liaise with the co-brand product partners to manage the product life cycle and develop product enhancement opportunities, and run promotions for acquisition, activation, usage and retention of cardholders / transactions.

• Interact with Marketing, Sales, Credit, Card Operations and IT functions to work towards achieving the business requirements during the product life cycle.

• Monitor and analyze performance of all acquisition programs to ensure results are on track and if not, to identify the problems/issues and recommend solutions to rectify them. Provide regular feedback to management on performance of initiatives.

• Obtain, develop and maintain the MIS necessary to understand the business dimensions, activity ratios, customer spend patterns, customer segmentations, etc. in order to identify the strategic / tactical product initiatives that will support the business objectives.

• Develop and enhance tools / channels for better communication with customers / potential customers to obtain feedback and build loyalty / product appeal.

Skills

Education level required

University degree or equivalent qualification.

Professional / Technical qualifications / Diplomas

Recognised management / banking qualification – MBA, FCA, CPA, ACIB, etc

Experience

Atleast 5 years experience in product management of Card products, preferably in the GCC market, with proven track record. Experience in managing co-branded cards would be beneficial.
