Opportunity Description

•Carry out all operation tasks, ensuring all activities are completed within timescales and with a high degree of accuracy, whilst providing excellent customer service, to both external and internal customers, and adhering to all appropriate process and procedures.

•Archive all appropriate files and documents manually or electronically as instructed, so that they can be located at a later date.

•Diarise customers request/ follow-ups and process the requests on required dates.

•Ensure periodic control checks are done and any discrepancy found to be highlighted.

•Escalate promptly if any irregularities/incident that may lead to risk or financial loss.

•Ensure all tasks carried out comply with Bank operating policies, procedures and standards.

•Identify and recommend improvements to procedures and processes to improve process and service levels without compromising on the Service Quality.

•Be proactive in a wide range of customer enquiries and issues, resolving these or escalating as appropriate

•Provide support to other team members as required to assist in the smooth operation of the department

•Maintain awareness of the department's Business Continuity Plan and undertake appropriate training to ensure correct action is taken in the event of an incident or disruption.

•Perform any other duties or tasks as required or instructed by the line manager to support the smooth operation of the department

Skills

•Written Communication: Produces clear and concise reports and other written material usually of a detailed and technical nature, which are understandable to those with or without a good knowledge of the subject matter.

•Procedure and Policy: A good knowledge of the relevant policies, practices, processes and procedures in own areas of responsibility. Where appropriate will have a good knowledge of the key relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements, technical interpretation and the ability to provide advice thereon.

•Self/Work Organisation: Plans, co-ordinates and controls the work and resources of self/teams under their control.

•Analytical: Uses a wide range of analytical tools and techniques to identify issues/trends to provide recommendations and solutions.
