Job Purpose:
To analyze and assess the Bank’s processes with a view to draft new and update existing operating procedures across the bank by ensuring adherence to Bank’s policies, ethics and code of conduct.
Accountabilities :
-Draft new and update existing Operating Procedures, whenever new processes are implemented/ need improvement across all areas of the Bank by ensuring acceptable levels of controls are built in and are completed within the agreed timescales and to a high degree of accuracy.
-Ensure that procedures are drafted in agreement with all Business / Operational unit(s).
-Ensure all operating procedures are documented and are maintained in the Banks standard format.
-Ensure operating processes are in compliance with policy, procedures, standards and reporting requirements, plus any relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
-Develop and maintain new and existing relationships with other Operational / Business units to support the achievement of business objectives.
-Provide advice, guidance and support to new or less experienced team members to speed induction or generally raise team effectiveness.
Skills
- Should have experience in Banking Industry.
- Analytical: Uses a wide range of analytical tools and techniques to identify issues/trends to provide recommendations and solutions.
- Procedure and Policy: A good knowledge of the relevant policies, practices, processes and procedures in own areas of responsibility. Where appropriate will have a good knowledge of the key relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements, technical interpretation and the ability to provide advice thereon.
