Assistant Manager - Islamic Liabilities & Cards - Islamic Banking

Manage and develop Islamic Liability and Cards Products. The role encompasses product development and management under Shari’ah guidelines ensuring adherence to Bank’s existing policy and strategy in order to support growth and maximize the profitability.

Accountabilities:

• Assist in the management of Islamic Liability and Cards Business

• Respond to all customers related, service quality queries and complaints related to product information.

• Ensure Profit Distribution Mechanism execution and management encompassing bank’s internal profit pay-out policy as well as pay-out by competition.

• Coordinate with the Shari’ah and finance and Operations for Profit Pay-out on a quarterly basis.

• Draw Amal Jood execution coordination and Management

• Coordinate with Marketing and Credit MIS team, corporate communication and compliance for execution of the draw.

• Coordinate and manage with the Charity agencies for the cards business

• Product legal documentations development in coordination with the legal team.

• Marketing briefs preparation and development for Liabilities and Cards business

• Marketing Collateral development collateral development for Liability and Cards Business

• Coordinate with marketing for collateral development, printing and distribution

• Develop Monthly Analytical business presentations.

• Review and amend the Operating procedures as per the requirement in coordination with internal controls.

• Supervise and Manage all system development, enhancement and UAT for new developments and enhancements.

• Prepare and supervise all UAT test scripts and testing for fixes provided for system issues

• Assist in all team projects to enhance the work.

• Coordinate with training team for the development of training presentation for the new products or enhancements.

• Coordinate with Shari’ah Supervisory Board for product and marketing related activity

Qualification :

Business Graduate/Post Graduate in Business/Management/Economics/Marketing/Finance

Experience :

Minimum 4 years of experience in a product specific role in liabilities or cards. Experience in an Islamic product role would be a major advantage. Understanding of Data and Analytics is compulsory.
